A Winning Tradition
Aprilia Newport Beach was recently established at Southern California’s premier European motorcycle dealership. Just as the Noale-based manufacturer has earned 45 world roadracing championships, this shop also has an impressive number of wins. Every year since opening in 2009, it’s won titles for top sales and best overall dealership from motorcycle manufacturers and trade publications. With more than 7600 Instagram followers, 4200 Facebook fans and a 5-star overall rating on Yelp, customers consider the business a winner, too.
Bathed in sunlight, Aprilia Newport Beach’s airy, 8400-square-foot showroom is always filled with beautiful, Italian supermodels. Instead of being packed in like stale sardines, each has room to breathe, mingle with visitors and show off their curvaceous bodies.
The Human Touch
This hands-on, family-run shop prides itself on being a refreshing alternative to big-box bike stores that have gobbled up many local motorcycle businesses.
In contrast to the moto megamalls, everything at Aprilia Newport Beach is done in a personal, efficient, precise and timely manner by a staff of enthusiasts that has more than 80 years of combined motorcycle-industry experience. All phone calls are answered personally. No automated system, hold music or endless menu options. Deals are sealed with a handshake and all business practices are transparent.
Aprilia Newport Beach offers an unprecedented level of service and aftersales support. The service department employs a talented, detail-oriented team of five factory-trained technicians. For them, no maintenance job is too small, project bike build too complicated or question off limits. Service appointments can even be booked online. Free motorcycle pickup and delivery is scheduled daily.
A World of Goodness
The shop’s parts and accessories department has an extensive selection of trick factory bits, aftermarket hardware and riding gear for men and women, including Aprilia’s line of casual wear. The store only stocks gear that staffers would trust with their lives from Arai, Rev’It!, Schubeth, Shoei, Sidi and Spidi. In fact, Aprilia Newport Beach serves as Rev’It!’s only brick-and-mortar store in Orange County, where customers can try on a wide selection of gear to ensure a perfect fit the first time around.
A Community of Like-Minded Motorcyclists
Catering to hardcore enthusiasts while embracing those who are new on the scene, the dealership holds owner’s clinics, seminars, bike nights, barbeques and other social events. MotoGP and World Superbike race-watching parties happen every Sunday at 11:30 am in the shop’s well-appointed lounge.
Aprilia Newport Beach also puts on customer-appreciation track days, sponsors local motorcycle speedway races and is working on new off-road adventure rides. Its massive parking lot has hosted area-exclusive, new-bike unveilings and press introductions, in addition to being the start and finish line for local club events.
